biography
In a world of micro-influencers, disposable content, and music made by machines, North Vancouver trio Bealby Point are doing things the old fashioned way. And it’s working.
Formed in 2018, the indie rockers have built a hard-earned reputation through the tried and true method of relentless touring and honest, hook-forward songwriting that draws comparisons to Spacey Jane and The Strokes. Since their inception they have sold out venues across Canada including The Horseshoe Tavern and The Pearl, completed two national tours, and opened for names like The Jins and Teenage Dads. Their singles “Double Disco” and “Storm In A Teacup” have accumulated over 250,000 streams independently, with “Double Disco” earning a coveted spot on Sirius XM’s The Verge; no small feat for a band operating without label support.
Their new single “Metastasized” is their most rock-forward release to date, channeling the anthemic punch of Hollerado and the raw, distinctly Canadian grit of The Tragically Hip. It’s the clearest statement yet of who Bealby Point are, and a bold first look at their long-awaited debut album Happiness Frontier, dropping October 23, 2026. After nearly a decade of doing things the right way, Bealby Point are ready for their moment.
